William C. Stone - 01/14/2002 William C. Stone - 01/14/2002 WILLIAM C. STONE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- William Cordon "Bill" Stone, 61, of Swan Valley, died January 10, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications following heart surgery. He was born April 8, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to William Walter Stone and Zina Roberta Cordon Stone. He grew up and attended schools in Ogden and Salt Lake City, graduating from South High School. He married Sandra Kranendonk in 1960 and they were later divorced. He married Sonja G. Martin April 15, 1985 in Sandy, Utah. He worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for E-Systems Montek in Salt Lake City. Since moving to Swan Valley, he has been a bus driver for the school district which he loved very much. He loved his grandchildren and his two dogs, Samantha and Sadie. He enjoyed computers, electronics, trains and model airplanes. Surviving are:Wife: Sonja Stone, Swan Valley, IDDaughter: Wendy (Jerry) Farley, Herriman, UTDaughter: Penny (George) Wetherell, South Jordan, UTSister: Judy (Jim) Mancuso4 Grandchildren, one serving a mission in Chicago. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Monday, January 14, 2002, at the Palisades LDS Ward, with Bishop Blake Jacobson officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Swan Valley Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
