He was born May 22, 1931 in Harlotown, Montana to Harry Smith and Mildred Bragg Smith. He grew up and attended schools in the area. He served as a Private in the U. S Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Minnie Harper and they were later divorced. He married Valerie Heiman on November 3, 1961 in Lewistown, Montana. He worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and driving truck. Surviving are:Wife: Valerie Smith, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Michael (Debbie) Smith, Wasalla, AKSon: Roger (Marsha) Smith, Lewistown, MTSon: Terry (Melissa) Smith, Lewistown, MTBrother: Everette (Ardith) Smith, Hemmett, CA14 Grandchildren and 3 Great GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his parents, one son, and two brothers.
