William Robertson

William R. Robertson, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 17, 2014, at his home. He was born December 2, 1933, in Tulare, California to John C. Robertson and Viola Mae Johnson Robertson. He grew up and attended schools in the area. He joined the U. S. Air Force and was an Airman First Class during the Korean War. On November 11, 1956, he married Bobbie J. Crisel in Watsonville, California. In 1969, they moved to Wilton, California. He was a truck driver for Pacific Gas and Electric and was also a long haul trucker. He later owned and operated a trenching and tractor service. In 2005, he moved to Idaho Falls where he retired. William was a member of the Protestant Church. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Robertson, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his daughter, Cathy (Chris) Wilson, of Pacifica, California; his son, Ron (Kim) Robertson, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his daughter, Cindy (John) Morgan, of Elk Grove, California; his sister, Carletta (George) Bencich, of Gilroy, California; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Robertson. Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls.
