DEE PRITCHARD
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- William Dee “Dee” Pritchard,
84, of Leeds, Utah, died June 14, 2003, in St. George, Utah.
He was born March 17, 1919, at Cedar City, Utah, to Sidney
P. Pritchard and Nellie Dover Pritchard. He grew up in Parowan, Utah and
graduated from Parowan High School. He then attended school in California
to learn to build airplanes. During World War II he served in the U. S.
Army as a Tech Sergeant for Army Artillery Observation in the European Invasion.
In 1952 he moved to Idaho to build the Palisades Dam. He
married Erma Peterson May 28, 1970, in Ririe. He worked in construction
for many years building dams, mines, and roads. He drove a Yellow Cab for
10 years and drove school bus for several years before his retirement. Erma
passed away December 15, 1995.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, he served as Elders Quorum President, in the High Priest Group Leadership,
and as a Temple Worker. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed fishing,
camping, and tromping around in the woods.

Daughter: Ruth [Lyle] Anderson, Idaho Falls
Brother: Sam Pritchard, Parowan, UT
many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, Howard and Leland, and
three sisters, Nella Marie Dalley, Francie Coots, and Beatrice Bringhurst.
Graveside Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 18,
2003, at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton
Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho

Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County
Veterans Team.
