William Peterson

Click Here To View Memorial Video William Dale Peterson, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on February 24, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1940, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Levoy F. Peterson and Eula Svedin Peterson. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Ririe High School. He later attended Beauty School in Long Beach, California. On July 21, 1968, he married Esther Ann Hernandez in Elko, Nevada. He was self-employed most of his life and owned several service stations. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid reader. He especially loved spending time at the cabin he built overlooking Palisades Reservoir and being with his family. He is survived by: Wife: Esther Peterson, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Lance G. Peterson, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Rodger W. (Marcie) Peterson, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Judie (John) Wozniak, Spokane, WA Daughter: Holly Peterson, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Bob (Queenie) Peterson, Boise, ID Sister: Sheryl (Rob) Lowe, Idaho Falls, ID 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren The family would like to thank Hands of Hope Hospice, Dr. Leland Krantz, the Bonneville County/Idaho Falls EMTs and the 4th floor staff at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Annis-Little Butte cemetery with his son, Rodger Peterson, conducting. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) prior to leaving for the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Bonneville County Humane Society, 444 N. Eastern Ave, Idaho Falls, ID 83402 or Hands of Hope Hospice, 1379 East 17th Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83401.
