William Isaiah “Bill” Brainerd, Jr, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 24, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Bill was born March 14, 1940, in Covina, California, to William Isaiah Brainerd and Helen Faith Keltor Brainerd. He attended schools in California, graduating from Lone Pine High School, Lone Pine, California. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bill attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California and graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from Chapman University in Orange, California.
Bill worked as Head Bookkeeper for Rohr Chemical Company in Chula Vista, California. Bill later owned and operated Brainerd’s Janitorial Services. He was a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association and bred race horses. He was a member of the Idaho Falls Rotary Club.
Bill was an avid hunter. He will be missed by his many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Fay Russell Cooper.
A Gathering will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, Idaho Falls.
