William Bowcutt

William Junior "Bill" Bowcutt, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 29, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Bill was born June 29, 1938, in Iona, Idaho, to William Lavern Bowcutt and Rhoda Mae Loveland Bowcutt. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. He also attended Idaho State University and graduated with an Associate’s Degree. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bill made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he worked as a manager for various businesses. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his son, Wallace (Esmeralda) Bowcutt of Idaho Falls; son, Jared Edwin (Kristina Lee) Bowcutt of Idaho Falls; son, Slade William (Kara) Bowcutt of Cheyenne, WY; son, Adam Micheal (Carlena Marie) Bowcutt of Idaho Falls; son, Frank Peterson of Idaho Falls; brother, Jim (Nadine) Larkins of AZ; brother, Boyd Bowcutt of CA; brother, Mike Bowcutt of WA; sister, Donna (Roger) Stucki of Idaho Falls; sister, Elva Dalton of Idaho Falls; and life-long friend, Sharon Jones of Shelley; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy and Wayne Bowcutt; and sisters, Sharon Bowcutt and Joyce Kilinski. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Iona Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
