William F. Hill, 68, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away in his home on Monday, February 11, 2013. At his request no services will be held.
Bill was born on January 23, 1945 in Rigby, Idaho to Percy Ray Hill and Donna Gneiting Hill.
Bill attended Bonneville High School before beginning his career as a union sheet metal worker. He took great pride in his work and was a top-notch, and accomplished craftsman. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association for 42 years.
He held many positions that took him from state to state all throughout the West Coast and beyond. Everyone who knew and worked with Bill had a high regard for him and his abilities as a mechanic. Bill will be missed by all and work just has not been the same without him.
Passionate about the outdoors, Bill was never as happy as when he was hunting with his dear friend Chris Landon. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and working in his garden.
Bill is survived by his mother Donna, his siblings Doug, Percy Jay, Jolene, Donna Ray, and Darla, as well as his daughters Megan (David) Reed and Brandy Johnson Wertz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary Ellen Johnson.
