Biography

William Edward Aldrich, 68, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011. He was born April 6, 1943 Fillmore, Utah to Edward Oscar Aldrich and Myrtle Louise Hare Aldrich. Bill attended schools in Utah and Southeastern Idaho. He graduated from Preston High School in Franklin County Idaho. Bill served for 2 and a half years in the United States Army. During that time he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. In March of 1970, he married Gloria Shuldberg. Together they raised five children. They were later divorced. Bill worked for several construction companies and has lived throughout Utah and Idaho. He has been a bachelor for the last twenty-two years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bill enjoyed camping, mining, hunting, and loved the outdoors. He was known for his sense of humor and was always a jokester. Survivors include: Son: Jeremy (April)Aldrich of Cane Beds, AZ; Son: Rodney (Natalie) Aldrich of Cedar City, UT; Daughter: Crystal Aldrich of St. George, UT; Daughter: Heather Strausser of St. George, UT; Sister: Ella Louise (Richard) Tingey of Brigham City, UT; Sister: Judy Elaine Roll (Ross)Hathaway of Idaho Falls, ID; and 10 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Brandon Todd Aldrich, and his younger brother, Ricky Lavern Aldrich. The family will hold private services.
