Willard Watson

Willard J. Watson, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Gables Assisted Living. Willard was born October 5, 1928, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Willard James Watson and Fannie Frome Watson. He married Margaret Watson on December 31, 1947. They had six children, Cindy, Francis, Valerie, Judy, Harold, and Stanley. Willard and Margaret made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Willard worked as a truck driver. Margaret passed away on November 17, 1989. Willard married Beverly on March 20, 1993. He became a father to her daughter, Barbara Aken. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Willard is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Stevan) Noreen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Francis (JoAnn) Watson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Valerie (Ruben) Ramirez of Idaho Falls, ID ; daughter, Judy (William) Hughes of Port Orchard, WA; daughter, Barbara (Brett) Aken of Idaho Falls, ID; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard James Watson; mother, Fannie Watson; first wife, Margaret Watson; second wife, Beverly Watson; son, Harold Watson; son, Stanley Watson. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 963 S. Ammon Rd. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
