WILLARD JAMES OSWALD
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Willard James Oswald, 93, of Idaho Falls,
died September 26, 2003, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 26, 1909, in Coltman, Idaho, to Ludwig
Frederick Oswald and Maria Christina Klingler Oswald. He attended Coltman
Elementary, Idaho Falls High School and Ricks College.
He married Ina Jensen May 2, 1934 in the Logan, Utah LDS
Temple. They operated their own farm all of their lives.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, he and Ina served a mission to Manitoba, Canada in 1978. He served
twice as a Bishop, on the High Council for 9 years, and has been a sealer
in the Idaho Falls Temple for 20 years.
He was kind and loving towards his family and had a wonderful
sense of humor; he enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz, BYU Football, going fishing,
gardening and picking huckleberries.

Son: Farrell J. (Linda) Oswald, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Jolene (John) Hollander, Mesa, AZ
Daughter: Shawna (Kevin) Campbell, Mesa, AZ
Sister: Verna (Don) Taylor, Mesa, AZ
22 Grandchildren, 42Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 6 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, September
30, 2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS Sand Creek Ward, 2545 Mesa, with Bishop
Scott Brizee officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.,
Monday, September 29, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and Tuesday,
from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
