Wilford Earl Hammon, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on January 6, 2012, at his home.
He was born January 3, 1937, in Idaho Falls to Herman Wilford Hammon and Annie Holverson Hammon. He grew up and attended schools in the area. Willie worked at Highland Park and was a ball shagger. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later graduated from Delta College in Body and Fender.
In 1960, he married Elsie Baker. They were divorced in 1963. On October 14, 1980, he married Anita Michelle Keller in Idaho Falls.
Willie enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and was an expert fly tyer. He especially loved his family and spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Stella, Corky, Jimmy and Ed.
Graveside services at will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Iona Cemetery with military rites performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team and Idaho Honor Guard. A gathering and luncheon will be from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge.
