Wendy Elaine Roll Harris Brand Jansen, 51, passed away May 5, 2018. She was born October 12, 1966, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William Joseph and Judy Elaine Aldrich Roll.
She lived in and around Salt Lake City, Utah, until she was eighteen months old when she moved to Idaho with her mother and step-father Ross K. Hathaway. Then when she was 5 years old she lived with her maternal grandparents for about four years then it was back to Mom until she was about 15 years old then it was back to the Grandparents for about one year. Then the parents and grandparents moved to Oakley, Idaho, where she graduated from Oakley High School. She lived with her grandparents when she met her first husband Maurice Keith Harris Jr. They had two boys together, Joseph LaVern Harris and Robert Alton Harris. They were divorced shortly after and she was married twice more but none of them worked out. So she lived and survived as she could. She was living with William D. Mitchell when he took sick and run her off. She was living with her youngest brother when she passed away.
Wendy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She liked to write poems and make things out of plastic canvas.
So she has gone to meet her maker and several family members. She was preceded in death by her step-father, dad, and grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Judy Hathaway; son, Joseph (Bella) Harris; son, Robert (Taylor) Harris; brother, Shamron (Mary Ellen) Hathaway; brother, Timothy (Sharon) Hathaway; brother, Cordell Hathaway; brother, Shane Hathaway; brother, Tony Hathaway; brother, Thomas (Isabelle) Blackstone; and sister, Lesa Hathaway. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
