Wendy Kim Banks

Wendy Kim Banks, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 9, 2025, at Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.

Wendy was born April 17, 1959, in Modesto, California, to William Banks and Evagene Lester. She was raised by Eva and Burnis Bratcher. She grew up across the country.

Wendy worked as a caregiver, cook, and mechanic. She was an adventurer of life who never met a stranger. She enjoyed crafts, art, gaming, and was an avid dog lover.

Wendy is survived by her daughter, Angela (Derrick McDonald) Castillo of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Burnis (Sophie) Ryan of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Brian (Lisa) Bratcher of Stevinson, CA; sister, Deana Ledoux of Turlock, CA; sister, Bonnie Elam of Dayton, NV; sister, Christine Banks Carter of Modesto, CA; honorary brother, Curtis Lester of Modesto, CA; best friend, Debbie Lasiter; and her four grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Noah, Emma, Alice, and Jane.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Bratcher; father, Burnis Bratcher; brother, Bill Bratcher; and biological father, William Banks.

Private family services will be held.
