WENDELL WAGONER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Wendell Arnold Wagoner, 73, of Idaho Falls, died August 15, 2006, at his home. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
He was born January 17, 1933, in Birch Creek, Idaho, to Cliffton Arnold Wagoner and Blanche Elma Bare Wagoner. He was raised by his Aunt Clyde and Uncle Dail Bare at Blue Dome, Birch Creek, Idaho where he attended a one-room elementary school. He then attended Lander High School in Battle Mtn., NV, Clark County High School in Dubois, ID, then earned his Bachelor's Degree from University of Utah, majoring in English with a minor in Air Science.
He served in the U.S. Air Force earning the rank of Major in 2 years active duty and served 12 years with the Utah Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve. In his adult years, he worked in the missile industry in CA and UT, worked in sales in ID and UT, as a technical writer at the INL and Energy, Inc. In Idaho Falls, and ranched in Dubois part-time with his family. He has lived in Idaho Falls the past 39 years.
He married Judith Anne Laird September 17, 1955, in Dubois, ID. They were later divorced.
He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1997. He was also a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He enjoyed his career, ranching and his family, especially grandchildren, Gracie and Zachary Brown, and Garrett and Madeline Wagoner.

Son: Melvin (Teresa Tuma) Wagoner, American Falls, ID
Daughter: Nora Elizabeth Anne (Mathew) Brown, Hailey, ID
Ex-Spouse: Judith Anne Laird Wagoner, Idaho Falls, ID
Two Brothers: Wallace Wagoner and Mac Wagoner, both of Dubois, ID.
4 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle Dail and Aunt Clyde Bare, who raised him, and sisters, Janie Hawkes and Jackie Beilenberg.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006, at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Kurt Welker officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 963 S. Ammon Rd., Idaho Falls.
