WAYNE E. DAZEY
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Wayne E. Dazey, 80, of Idaho Falls, died
January 12, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 19, 1923 at Elbert, Colorado to Charles
Powers Dazey and Grace Elizabeth Ewing Dazey. He grew up and attended schools
in the area. Following graduation, he served in the U. S. Army during World
War II. He then attended Fort Collins A&M where he graduated with his
Bachelor's Degree.
On June 16, 1946, he married Jamie Aline Addington in Colorado
Springs, Colorado. They moved to Idaho where he has lived in Grangeville,
Shelley and Idaho Falls. He retired from the R.T. French Company.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #52 in Shelley, the
Jr. Chamber of Commerce, AGR Fraternity, the Order of Eastern Star and a
Friend of Bill W. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church
in Shelley.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, gardening, photography,
beautiful sunsets and family outings.

Daughter: Jamie Ann Dazey, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Ivan Dazey, Colorado Springs, CO
Brother: Earl (Karen) Dazey, Castlerock, CO
Sister: Vera McRae, Bullhead City, AZ
5 Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Dazey.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January
17, 2004, at the Shelley United Methodist Church (190 S. Holmes), with Chaplain
Marv Eld officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior
to the services at the church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral
Home in Idaho Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be
made to the charity of your choice.
