WARREN RAND II IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Warren Revere Rand II, 59, of Idaho Falls, died April 6, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1947, at Waterloo, Iowa, to Warren Revere Rand I and Beverly Jane Lyons Rand. His family later moved to Portland, Oregon, where he graduated from Richfield High School. While attending Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, he was nominated by a senator to attend Westpoint. He was on the wrestling team in both high school and college. On March 1, 1976, he married Donna Dyanne Welch in Vancouver, Washington. He worked in construction as a contractor and also did remodeling work. His hobbies included fishing, singing, writing songs, poetry, sports, playing guitar and cooking. Warren once had his picture taken with President Richard Nixon and enjoyed showing it to others. Survivors are: Wife: Donna Rand, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Joshua Warren Rand, Idaho Falls, ID Mother: Beverly J. Rand, Portland, OR Brother: Brian James Rand, Portland, OR Sister: Sharon Kay Jelinek, Portland, OR Sister: Susan Songer, Portland, OR Sister: Sharlene Sampson, Florence, OR 1 Grandchild He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with Pastor Bruce Henne of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church officiating.
