Warren Richard Hallum

Warren R. Hallum, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 13, 2023, at MorningStar Senior Living Center after a short battle with brain cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Warren was born September 29, 1942, in Minnesota to Warren and Elizabeth “Beth” Hallum. In 1962, he joined the Navy. He served on the USS Yorktown, and was honorably discharged in 1964.

In 1980, he married Linda, and in 1981, he adopted his daughters, Nicole and Paula. Warren and Linda were later divorced, but remained close friends.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, road trips, hiking, reading, shooting, and visiting with friends at the gun shops.

Warren is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Walter Perry) Arzola of Pocatello, ID; daughter, Paula (Benjamin) Aiken of St. George, UT; brother, Michael (Barbara) Hallum of WA; and 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Anthony (Lauren Bowling), and Sydney Arzola; Alexandra and Ryan Aiken.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Beth Hallum, and sister, Ann Hallum.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
