WARNER L. ASH
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Warner L. Ash, long-time resident
of Barry County, Missouri, passed away February 10, 2005, at his home
in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He was born August 6, 1913, in Hurley, Missouri, to Marion
Delworth Ash and Monnie Lee Ash. He spent most of his early years growing
up on farms with his brother and two sisters, Paul Ash, Ruth Stoddard
and Wilma Brown. He is also survived by a daughter, Bernita June Delmore
of Idaho Falls and son, Gary W. Ash of Joplin, Missouri. Warner has six
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by five brothers and five sisters, Loren, George, Hershell, Oliver, Finis,
Mary, Edna, Velma, Edith and Willa Dean.
Warner was a farmer and carpenter most of his life. He
enjoyed fishing, hunting, working outdoors, and playing checkers. He had
a passion for life and the outdoors and enjoyed practical jokes and teasing
that made him popular among his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with his wife, he had made his home in Idaho Falls
for the last four years surrounded by his daughter, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
He was affiliated with the Church of God in Cassville,
Missouri, and the Fundamentalist Methodist Church in Aurora, Missouri.
Friends will be received at Fohn's Funeral Home on Friday evening.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning with
the Reverend officiating. Burial will follow in Sparks Cemetery.
