Wanda Pabst McIntier, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 17, 2012, surrounded by her family at her home at Lincoln Court Retirement Community.
Wanda was born June 30, 1922, in Lorenzo, Idaho, to Edmond Ahart Pabst and Dora Hall Pabst. As a child the family moved several times and she attended schools in Lorenzo, Arco, Mackay, and Menan, and graduated from Midway High School.
On September 1, 1940, she married Robert Arnold McIntier at Archer, Idaho. To this union were born five children, Sharon, Diana, Marilyn, Luana, and Dale. Wanda and Arnold made their home in Annis, Archer, Lyman, and Idaho Falls, and lived in Rexburg for about 50 years. Wanda was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked in a fabric store and as an Avon representative. Arnold passed away March 18, 1981.
On November 18, 1984, she married Stephen E. Grover. They lived in Archer until he passed away in 1991. She moved to Idaho Falls almost five years ago.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various capacities over the years, including many years as Primary Secretary and 19 years as an officiator in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Wanda enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, and traveling. She made many items for church humanitarian projects.

Brother, Ray (Jan) Pabst of Idaho Falls, ID;
Sister, Norma Robison of Idaho Falls, ID,
Sister, Fay "Pat" Walker of Idaho Falls, ID;
26 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a daughter, Marilyn Davidson, a sister, Dolores “Dee” Lederer, two brothers, William “Bill” Pabst and Roland O. Pabst, and three great grandchildren, Kristopher Bret Purcell, Jessica Marie Smith, and Brooklyn Lubke.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS Sage View Ward, 1345 Clarence, with Bishop Byron Nukaya officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be next to Arnold in the Archer-Sutton Cemetery.
