WALLACE J. PENDLETON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Wallace Junior “Wally” Pendleton, 73, of Shelley, Idaho died August 21, 2001 at his home of cancer. He was born March 30, 1928 at Magna, Utah to Oliver Howard Wallace Pendleton and Annie Elizabeth Marlor Pendleton. He lived in Magna until the age of 4 then moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho with his mother and step-father Forrest “Red” Pendleton. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended many of the area Elementary Schools and Idaho Falls High School.
After leaving High School he started plumbing and chose that for his profession. He served in the U. S. Navy for a short time, but received a medical discharge. He continued plumbing and was the youngest apprentice to receive a journeyman's license in the State of Idaho. He worked for several businesses before starting his own business, “Wally's Plumbing and Heating.”
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many positions. He enjoyed bowling hunting, fly fishing, camping, coin collecting and he loved spending time with his beloved wife and family.
Surviving are:Wife: Bonita “Bonny” Ann Glover Pendleton, Shelley, IDSon: Wallace Kent (Barbara) Pendleton, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Jeryl (Cache) Olson, Shelley, IDSon: Mark Pendleton, Shelley, IDDaughter: Kristy Saunders, Idaho Falls, ID 34 Grandchildren, 6 Great GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepfather, 2 brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m Saturday, August 24, 2001, at the Shelley LDS Mountain View Ward, with Bishop Robert Drollinger officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to services ono Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
