Obituary information Walker Payne Henry Walker Payne, 87, of Idaho Falls, died July 3, 2012 at Lincoln Court Assisted Living Center. He was born September 25, 1924 in Williamsport, Tennessee to Henry Payne and Viola Nichols Payne. He attended schools in Hickman County, Tennessee. Walker’s mother became very ill requiring his Dad to devote his time taking care of her. As a result he had to quit school at the age of 11 to run the family farm. He married Mary Juanita Scott on December 22, 1945 in Alabama . Walker was employed at Rippey Auto Parts in Columbia, Tennessee for over 20 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints where he served with his wife, Juanita as directors of the family history center in Columbia, Tennessee. He served in many other church callings including Branch President and High Council. He enjoyed repairing lawn mowers for resale, working on cars, fishing and being with his family. Walker is survived by his wife, Juanita of Ammon,ID; Daughter, Teresa (Mel) Stone of Rigby, ID; Son, Scott Lynn Payne of Columbia, TN; Son, Cam J. (Angie) Payne of Ammon ID; Sister, Elizabeth (CB) Moore of Columbia, TN; 10 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Mae Delk and Claudia Ayers and a grandson, Christopher Payne. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Ammon Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd.) prior to going to the cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side. (963 S. Ammon Rd.)
