Waldon J. Frandsen

Waldon John Frandsen, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 3, 2023, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia.

Waldon was born June 25, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Melvin Frandsen and Ivy Field Frandsen. He grew up and attended schools in Iona, Idaho and graduated from Bonneville High School. He also attended Seminary.

On August 19, 1989, he married Karen Pullman in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Waldon and Karen made their home in Idaho Falls, where Waldon worked as a stocker at Deseret Industries.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He enjoyed his family, fast cars, building models, relaxing, and spending time with friends.

Waldon is survived by his loving wife, Karen Frandsen of Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen Jenkins of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Barbara Frandsen of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Melvin "Keith" Frandsen of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Annette Beck Torres of Ucon, ID; brother, Richard Frandsen of Rexburg, ID; sister, Joyce Moon of Las Vegas, NV.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Iona Cemetery, 4962 East First Street.  The family will visit with friends Wednesday prior from 10 to 11 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
