Gregory Wade Ghan, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 29, 2014, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation after a lengthy illness. He was under the care of Hearts for Hospice and his loving family.
Wade was born December 25, 1954, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to John Jefferson Ghan and Aloha Jane Tanner Ghan. He attended elementary school in Twin Falls and later attended schools in Idaho Falls. Wade was very active in sports growing up, playing football and baseball in high school.
Wade worked as a carpenter in Washington and California.
He enjoyed fishing in the Bay Area and had many friends in both California and Idaho Falls.
Wade is survived by his mother, Aloha (James) Humphrey of Idaho Falls, ID,
brother, Shon D. (Brandy) Ghan of Idaho Falls, ID,
sister, LaTauna Ghan of Denver, CO,
stepbrother, Bud (Pat) Humphrey of Park Ridge, IL,
stepbrother, Bob (Leesa) Blakely of Roy, UT;
stepbrother, Bill (Diane) Blakely of Idaho Falls, ID;
and a step-sister, Merilyn Humphrey of Waldport, OR.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Jefferson Ghan, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from to 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
