Vivian Mallard

Vivian Lousie Mallard, 77, of Rexburg, passed away March 22, 2018, at her home.

Vivian was born December 26, 1940, in Jesup, GA, to William Joseph Broadhurst and Dorothy Louise Fennel Broadhurst. She grew up on a dairy farm in Jesup, GA. She also worked in a movie theater and fast food drive-in during her teenage years. Later on, she became CEO of a home rental company, Dairyland Acres.

On July 3, 1958, she married Richard Kirkland Mallard Sr. To this union were born two children, Richard and Timothy. Vivian and Richard were divorced in 2012 and she relocated to Rexburg, ID.

Vivian was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved being a primary teacher. She also enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and trees, camping, mowing the grass, scenic drives, traveling and going to movies with her great-grandchildren.

Vivian is survived by son, Richard (Marian) Mallard, Jr. of Rexburg, ID; son, Timothy Mallard of Jesup, GA; grandson, Richard (Karin) Mallard, III of Arcadia, CA; granddaughter, Christa (Bryan) Bankhead of Ammon, ID ; granddaughter, Jessica Jacobs of Jesup, Ga; great-granddaughter, Danyelle Bankhead of Ammon, ID; great-granddaughter, Ezriel Mallard of Arcadia, CA; great-granddaughter, Meridy Mallard of Arcadia, CA; great-granddaughter, Jaedyn Jacobs of Jesup, GA; great-granddaughter, Maelynn Jacobs of Jesup, GA; great-grandson, Tegan Bankhead of Ammon, ID; great-grandson, Colton Bankhead of Ammon, ID; great-grandson, Kenneth Mallard of Arcadia, CA; brother, Danny (LaWanda) Broadhurst of Jesup, GA; sister, Dedra (Gerald) Johnson of Jesup, GA;

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Broadhurst; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Burton 2nd Ward, 3958 W. 2000 S., Rexburg, ID. The family will visit with friends Sunday 6:30-8 p.m. and Monday 10-10:45 a.m., both times at the church. Burial will be in Burton Cemetery.

Funeral Services will be held
