VIRGINIA PARIS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Virginia Ripplinger Paris, 87, of
Idaho Falls, died February 2, 2004, at Life Care Center.
She was born March 22, 1916, at Bates, Idaho, to Richard
Ripplinger and Elise Margaret Brox Ripplinger. She grew up in the Driggs
area and attended Driggs Elementary School and graduated from Teton High
School. She graduated from Idaho Falls Business College in 1956 and later
from Glenn E. Clark Business College. She also attended Ricks College
and Brigham Young University.
On September 29, 1961, she married Clifford Earl Paris
in Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and mother and was an instructor at
Glenn E. Clark Business College for thirty years. Her husband passed away
January 15, 1967.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she held various callings through the years, including service
as a Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher, music director for stake
baptisms, and as ward librarian. She enjoyed music, teaching, growing
flowers and plants, and crocheting. She was a loving, kind, generous,
talented, and creative woman who had a wonderful sense of humor and was
a joy to be with.

Granddaughter: Jocie V. [Donald Courtney] Randall, Idaho Falls, ID
Grandson: William Shane Martindale, Idaho Falls, ID
Granddaughter: Joloine [Bryan] Heavilin, Idaho Falls, ID
4 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,
a daughter, Elise Jacquette, an infant son, a sister, Lois Haderlie, and
a brother, George Ripplinger.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February
6, 2004, at the Idaho Falls LDS 2nd Ward, 885 South Boulevard, with Bishop
Bowen Huntsman officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday
from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Friday from
10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
