Virginia D. "Ginny" Morgan Moss, 68, of Rigby, passed away November 10, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of health complications. Ginny was born March 1, 1949, in Ogden, Utah, to Lewis E. Morgan and Emily Helen Vaughn Morgan. She grew up and attended schools in Malad and graduated from Malad High School in 1967. Her Senior year, she was a contestant for Miss Malad, winning the talent award. She also attended Utah State University working on a degree in Education. On July 23, 1971, she married James William "Bill" Moss. To this union were born two daughters, Shantell and Stefanie. Ginny made her home in Rigby, Idaho, where she cared for her beloved mother, Helen. She worked as a Deputy Assessor in the Jefferson County Assessor’s Office. She had a knack for remembering all of the people she helped year after year with their circuit breakers. She looked forward to this time each year. She took pride and always went the extra mile in helping her clients. Ginny loved to cook for every occasion for her family and friends. She was everyone’s "go to" cook advisor. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She loved and adored her grandkids. Ginny was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Whenever she heard of someone else’s misfortune, she was always the first to provide whatever service they needed. She was a huge blessing and light in everyone’s lives. She was a great example of kindness, patience and love. A true daughter of God who lived a life of service. She will be greatly missed by all. Ginny is survived by the love of her life, Bill Moss of Rigby, ID; daughter, Shantell (Jeffrey Hall) Carlson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Stefanie (Jesse) Law of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Christine Gillies of CA; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
