VIRGINIA L. GREEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Virginia Louella Green, 87, of Idaho
Falls, died January 10, 2004, at Portneuf Valley Hospital and Rehab in
Pocatello.
She was born September 26, 1916, in Idaho Falls, Idaho,
to Richard Herman Albers and Louella Viola Hanni Albers. She grew up and
attended schools in Idaho Falls.
Virginia married Volney Zavan Green September 14, 1939,
in Idaho Falls. She has lived in Idaho Falls all her life except four
years in San Diego and a year in Ketchikan, Alaska.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She loved gatherings with her family, and enjoyed fishing and
camping on the Buffalo River. Virginia learned to downhill ski at age
50, and to golf at age 75.

Sister: Shirley (John E.) Peterson, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Barbara (Doug) Wells, Shelley, ID
Grandson, Warren Scott (Pam) Peterson, their children, Joshua Michael,
and Daniel Gene, all of Idaho Falls, grandsons, Norman Peterson, Seattle,
WA, and Darin (Maria) Peterson, of Kuopio, Finland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Harry, who died
in infancy, Wallace and Richard Albers, both in World War II, and Donald
Albers.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m Friday, January 16, 2004,
at Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge, Idaho Falls.
The family will visit with friends Friday beginning at
9:30 a.m., at Wood Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral
Home.
