Virginia Faye Garcia

Virginia Faye Garcia, 67, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 13, 2018, at home in Idaho Falls . She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice. Virginia was born November 9, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Abner Wylie Snarr and Virginia Kathryn Croft Snarr. She grew up in Osgood and attended New Sweden school and Skyline High School. She married Steven W. Anderson. To this union they had six children and then later divorced. She married LeRoy W. Garcia on October 23, 1986, in Nampa, Idaho, but they later divorced. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her kids and grandkids. She loved being outside, going for drives and camping. She enjoyed being with her grandkids, coloring, putting her mark on various projects, and was always the life of the party. She always had something to say. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Kris (Mike) Blang of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kari Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Scott (Aimee) Anderson of Draper, UT; son, Aaron (Marcie) Anderson of Ammon, ID; daughter, Amy Robison of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Nathan (Courtney) Anderson of Ammon, ID; brother, David R. Snarr of Independence, OR; sister, Kathryn S. (Don) Fontes of Ammon, ID; brother, Paul J. (Shelly) Snarr of Idaho Falls, ID; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, plus two more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wylie and Virginia Snarr; brothers, Richard H. Snarr, Robert B. Snarr, Steven W. Snarr and Joseph L. Snarr; sister-in-law, Carol L. Snarr; grandson, Taylor W. Anderson; and granddaughter, Shelby R. Anderson. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
