Virginia Allen

Virginia Shirlene Allen, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 11, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of Symbii Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.

Virginia was born May 2, 1937, in Dibble, Oklahoma, to James Michener and Corene Lee Michener. She grew up and attended schools in Dibble, Oklahoma, and graduated from Dibble High School.

On April 5, 1963, she married Buster Allen in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Virginia and Buster made their home in Boulder City, Nevada, where Virginia worked as a machine operator for Good Humor, Inc.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Mark) Abratowski of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kristi (Tim) Crain of Idaho Falls, ID; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster Allen; parents, James and Corene Michener; brother, John Michener; sisters, Irene Stanford, Lorene Blair, and Gayle Fears; and grandson, Jacob Ryan Crain.
