Violet Shaw Wade

LUCILLE WADE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Violet Lucille Shaw Wade, 88, of Idaho Falls, died October 19, 2006, at her home. She was born September 10, 1918, at Elsinore, Utah, to James A. Shaw and Violet M. Kersley Shaw. The family moved to Idaho Falls where she attended Emerson Elementary and Lincoln High School. On July 19, 1939, she married John Turner Wade in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She was a mother and homemaker and also worked as a waitress at Liberty Café, Hong Kong Restaurant, and the Westbank. She was a member of the Holy Order of Man Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, home decorating, and gardening. Survivors are: Daughter: Barbara L. Wade, Idaho Falls Son: Gary L. Wade, Idaho Falls Sister: Nadine Mann, Idaho Falls Sister: Lois Draper, Idaho Falls Sister: Mary Kienlen, Raft River, ID Sister: Luana Richardson, Idaho Falls 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas J. Wade and Marshal A. Wade; a daughter, Dixie Sue Wade; two brothers, Gordon Shaw and James Truce Shaw; and four sisters, Farrol Watson, Kay Hemsley, Beatrice Tracy, and Wanda Easley. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with Rick Williams officiating.
