VIOLA LANDON WYATT
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Viola Cunningham Landon Wyatt, 89,
of Coltman, passed away September 25, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional
Medical Center of complications following a fall at her home.
She was born October 27, 1914, in Newdale, Idaho, to
George J Cunningham and Mary Louise Hammer Cunningham. She grew up in
Newdale and Osgood and attended local schools, including O. E. Bell Junior
High School and Ammon High School.
She married Robert Dwain Landon June 28, 1933, in the
Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. He passed away July 17, 1938. She was a homemaker
and mother and also worked as a clerk at S. H. Kress Co. And Fogg Drug
many years. She married Lewis Leavitt Wyatt September 24, 1941, in the
Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was the first cook at the Osgood School
and took care of the flowers in Tautphaus Park for five years while Lewis
was the caretaker there.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served as Young Women President and teacher, Counselor in
the Relief Society Presidency, and as a Primary teacher. She served as
a Visiting Teacher for over 60 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, canning
food, reading, gardening, baking, and making quilts and crafts.

Daughter: Anita (Darrell) Webster, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: LeeAnn (Tim) Wheeler, Idaho Falls, ID
numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, six brothers,
Austin, Jasper, Harold, Vernal, Lee, and Eldon Cunningham, three sisters,
Stella Siddoway, Ella Cunningham, and Zelma Landon, and a grandson, John
Wyatt.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September
29, 2004, at the Idaho Falls LDS Coltman 1st Ward, 12448 North 5th East,
with Bishop Alvin E. Arave officiating. The family will visit with friends
Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Wednesday
for one hour prior to services at the church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
