Vincent Douglas Rafn, 49, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away February 20, 2015, at his home.
Vince was born June 12, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, to Robert Chic and Linda Murphy Rafn. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He served for ten years in the U. S. Army Reserves with the 539th Signal Company out of Idaho Falls.
On June 13, 1985, he married Julie Gay Campbell in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born two children, Lacey (Mike) Masters, and Curtis. Vince and Julie made their home in Yakima, Washington, where Vince worked as sales manager for a company that manufactured pallets and other wood products.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being with his family.
Vince is survived by his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Julie Rafn of Pocatello, ID;

Daughter, Lacey (Mike) Masters of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, Curtis Rafn of Idaho Falls, ID
Brother, Brian (Felisa) Rafn of Blackfoot, ID;
Brother, Dane (Jennifer) Rafn of LaVerigne, TN;
Sister, Deanna Sehwendiman of Yakima, WA;
Sister, Gretchen (Carl) Bartz of Yakima, WA
3 grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Vilet Cohens, and his grandparents, Russel and Inez Murphy.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the Idaho Falls LDS 9th Ward, 395 – 2nd Street, with his father-in-law, Larry Campbell, officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 p.m. at the church. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a “Go Fund Me” account thru Julie Rafn.
