IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Vila Beth Guymon Hall, 60, of Blackfoot, died September 26, 2002, at Bingham Memorial Hospital. She was born August 21, 1942, in Garfield, Idaho, to Louis Wayne Guymon and Zora Cook Guymon. She attended Rigby Junior High and graduated from the LDS Seminary Institute and Sugar-Salem High School on May 20, 1960. Throughout her life she also lived in Milo, Freedom, Wyoming, Arlee, Montana, and Clark, Grant, Sugar City, Salem, Burton, Blackfoot and Idaho Falls, Idaho. She married Henry Doyle Hall on October 14, 1960 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1994. She then married Kenneth E. Rathburn on November 25, 1995. Their marriage ended in June of 1997, but they remained friends. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on February 3, 1951. She served as a Nursery Leader from 1977 to 1978. She enjoyed singing, dancing, collecting music, playing the organ and guitar, putting together puzzles and raising Chihuahua puppies to sell. Surviving are: Son: Zeb Lee (Lynda) Hall, Boise, ID Daughter: Lori Lynn Blades, Blackfoot, ID Daughter: Amy Lew (Jonathan) Settlemyer, Blackfoot, ID Brother: Louis J. (Darlyn) Guymon, Gooding, ID Sister: Pearl (Charles) Rawson, Sugar-Salem, ID Sister: Loretta (Dale) Miller, Kaysville, UT Sister: Ruby Jean (John) Jagielski, Burton, ID 4 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, a sister, Yvonne, and a stillborn brother. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Monday, September 30, 2002, at the Burton LDS Chapel, with Bishop David Case of the Blackfoot LDS 7th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and beginning at 9:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Sugar City Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. to Pearl & Loretta & Ruby: We send our sorrow on your sister's death, and our love and blessing that she's in a better life. God and her family above love her and will take care of her. We're sorry she suffered so long, but she has gone home now to do a different job and she feels much better now, being able to do it.
