Vickie Lee Leatham, 61, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away January 9, 2018, at her home. She was under the care of her family and Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Vickie was born February 6, 1956, in Rupert, Idaho, to Irvin Duke Lords and Lilly Blanche Livermore. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Idaho Falls, where she grew up and attended schools. She lived in various areas of Idaho throughout her life, but has lived most of the time in Idaho Falls. On September 6, 1974, she married Phillip Spence Leatham, Sr. in Farmington, Utah. Vickie and Phillip made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Vickie was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a bus driver. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed dogs, flowers, coloring, and thrift stores. Her family was her life and she loved being a mom and housewife. Vickie is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Phillip Leatham of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Phillip Spence Leatham, Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Karina Blanche Leatham of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Bob Hiett of Coeur d’Alene, ID, sister, Karolyn Haslam of Ucon, ID; She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Lilly Lords, and brother, Stanley Duke Lords. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Idaho Falls LDS 26th Ward, 2040 Jennie Lee Drive, with Bishop Kim Smith officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
