Vicki England

Vicki Lynn England of Welton, Arizona, passed away on April 25, 2026, of breast cancer at the age of 78, in Yuma, Arizona.

She was born on May 23, 1947, to Wayne and Vera Bowden. In 1966, she married Evan Mayes and had three kids, Stephen, Katie, and Heather. They were later divorced. In 1979, she married Jim England. They later divorced.

She was a public safety dispatcher for the city of Idaho Falls before she retired to Welton, Arizona. Her hobbies included bingo, reading, oil painting, Mexican train, collecting treasures, and talking to strangers and friends alike.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Vicki is survived by her son, Stephen (Tawna) Mayes of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Katie Mayes of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Heather (Dave) Rohrbaugh of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Kenneth Wayne (Karen) Bowden of El Cajon, CA; sister, Kathy Jo Simonds of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Debra Marie (Clifford) Rogers of Everett, WA; sister, Julie Ann (Craig) Stephenson of Blackfoot, ID; brother, Gary K. (Becky) Bowden of Idaho Falls, ID; grandchildren, Chris Mayes, Jordain Blom, Taylor Hansen, Madisen Mayes, Katelynn Mayes, Gatlynn Mayes, Sadie Mayes, Samantha Mayes, Cami Rohrbaugh, and Ryan Rohrbaugh.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Wayne and Vera; grandsons, Caleb Mayes and Hunter Mayes, and great-grandson, Diesel Kaiser.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026, at Milo Cemetery, 8020 E. 129th N., Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. Burial will be in the Milo Cemetery.
