To Marcia and all the family of Vesta Pratt:
It was my privilege to know Vesta to some extent when she lived at Turtle and Crane during the time time my mother, Alice Ursenbach, lived there.
I was hoping to attend her funeral to learn more about this very special lady, but a prior commitment may make that impossible. Marcia, if I cannot come, please know that I would have given you a big hug and thanked you for being such a great example of a very loving and devoted daughter. At least we got to talk for a minute recently.
M
ay all of you be blessed with comfort at this time.
Sincerely, Jeanne Mattson

We have just learned of the passing of Aunt Vesta. As we are currently living in Tokyo, Japan, it is not possible for us to be with you in person, but please know that we are with you in spirit. We know that Vesta is resting now from her earthly cares. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love,
