DOLA CALDER
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Versa Dola Calder, 83, of Idaho Falls,
died December 26, 2003, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 4, 1920, in Ammon, Idaho to William
Elizas Winder and FLorence Ritter Winder. She attended schools in the Ammon
area.
She married John Calder in Ammon January 24, 1939. Their
marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple October 24, 2000.
They lived in Montana for a year, in Carey, Idaho for 2 years, and in the
Idaho Falls area and Roberts the rest of their lives. He preceded her in
death March 2002.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints and served as a Visiting Teacher. She was also a member of the Roberts
Garden Club, where she was a life member for the State of Idaho, and a member
of the Lady Lions.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and spending
time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Son: Fred Calder, Menan, ID
Son: Ricky Calder, Roberts, ID
Brother: Floyd (Maxine) Winder, Moses Lake, WA
Sister: Ruby Scouten, Phoenix, AZ
15 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Elvira Pace and Verda
Paulus, and 3 brothers, William O., LaVer and Daniel Winder.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December
29, 2003, at the Roberts LDS Stake Center, with Bishop Dennis Snarr of the
Roberts 1st Ward, officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, December
28, from 6 to 8:00 p.m., at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and at 1:00
on Monday at the church.
Burial will be in the Roberts Cemetery under the direction
