Vernon Jessen

VERNON JESSEN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Vernon Roger Jessen, 63, of Roberts, died July 27, 2007, at his home. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. He was born July 22, 1944, in Idaho Falls, to Herman Henry Jessen and Nihla Kunz Jessen. On June 11, 1974, he married Norma Jean Degelbeck. He worked as a crane operator out of Local 3 for over 35 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Vernon found great joy in his four grandchildren, Ashley, Zachary, Miranda, and Joshua Jessen, and loved them dearly. Survivors include: Wife: Norma Jessen, Roberts, ID Son: Troy Roger Jessen, Bountiful, UT Son: Tracy Lee Jessen, Murray, UT Sister: Elda Jean Henninger, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Joyce Leishman, Orem, UT Brother: Gayland Jessen, Kaysville, UT Brother: Robert Jessen, Layton, UT Brother: Edwin Pangman, Salt Lake City, UT 4 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 30th at the Market Lake Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. at the Roberts LDS 1st Ward, 201 North 2600 East, Roberts, ID. ---------------------------------------------------------
