VERDA S. COYNE
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Verda Victoria Stucki Coyne, 76, of Idaho Falls, died February 5, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 30, 1925 at Coltman, Idaho to Jacob Stucki and Mary Anna Butikofer Stucki. She attended schools in Ucon. Following graduation from high school she attended the LDS School of Nursing in Idaho Falls.
She married Walter Joseph Coyne on September 5, 1950 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker and also worked as a registered nurse. She served as President of the Parent Teacher Association at Linden Park Elementary School.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary, Relief Society, and Young Women's organizations. She also served a mission to the Netherlands. She was an avid painter and enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Orme, Idaho FallsDaughter: Holly Kay (Lars) Elkin, AberdeenBrother: Ephriam (LaVerne) StuckiBrother: Roger (Donna) StuckiBrother: Ray (Arlene) StuckiBrother: Conley (Beverly) StuckiSister: Amy (Howard) BrintonSister: Betty (Jerry) Peterson 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rhoda Tyler; and three brothers; Amos, Victor, and Oscar Stucki. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, February 9, 2002, at the Idaho Falls LDS 16th Ward, 885 South Boulevard, with Bishop Phil Roberts officiating.
The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in Grant-Central Cemetery.
