Vera Campbell

VERA JANE CAMPBELL IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Vera Jane Campbell, 84, died June 7, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from degenerative heart disease. She was born December 9, 1921, at the home of her parents, George Williams and Dell Fluke Williams in Crawford, CO. She attended schools and church in Crawford, then in Red Mesa near Durango where the family farmed and ranched She married Robert Crawford in Colorado. They later divorced. She married Rual F. Campbell in 1967 at Ely, Nevada. She worked at the Hudson Cafe in Idaho Falls for many years where she enjoyed meeting the public, and will be missed by many friends and her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, walking the mall for exercise and visiting, her yard work, growing flowers, especially roses, and looked forward to traveling south for the winters to enjoy the warm weather. Survivors include: Husband: Rual F. Campbell, Idaho Falls Son: Dennis (Martha) Crawford, Helena, MT Stepson: Shane (Jane) Campbell, Portland, OR Stepson: Todd (Janet) Campbell, Flint, MI Stepdaughter: Debra (Layne) Hammond, Blackfoot, ID 10 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two older brothers, Earl and Georgie Williams, and a sister, Vivian. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Saturday from10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
