Venna Holmberg

VENNA HOLMBERG IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Venna Joy Park Holmberg, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 2, 2007, at her home. She was born January 28, 1927, in Ririe, Idaho, to Clarence William Park and Emma Vera Hatfield Park. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe. She married Roy Clifford Holmberg August 19, 1964 in Las Vegas. They lived in Idaho Falls and raised their family where she has lived for over 40 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed gardening, oil painting, drawing, embroidery, quilting, crocheting, reading, doing puzzles and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include: Daughter: Mary (Randy) Tate, Salt Lake City, UT Son: Troy Holmberg, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Ray Holmberg, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Boyd (Roe) Park Brother: Kendall (JoAnn) Park Brother: Lynn (Lynae) Park Sister: Phyllis (Zane) Radford Sister: Lue Ann Hjelm Sister: June (Fred) Price Sister: Delene (Lee) Malcom 2 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son, and brothers, Gene, Arlen, Keith and Ronald. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
