Velma takes me back to when she was in the 7th grade. She was so full of life then that I knew she was destined to bless the lives of many people while in this life. I was fortunate enough to date her for a short time and came to appreciate her zest for life and willingness to reach out beyond her comfort zone. I assume, from comments already left, that she was indeed an amazing woman and a joy to have know. Velda - may remember me briefly . . . but none the less, the world has been a better place because these twins made their presence felt. My heartfelt condolences to the family and all to whom she was dear. Lovely lovely woman.
