VEDAL RAMOS
AMMON, ID -- Vedal Ramos, 54, of Ammon, passed away October 2, 2009, at his home. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.
He was born September 27, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Teodoro Terrazas Ramos, Jr. and Mary Lena Martinez Ramos. He had five brothers and one sister.
Vedal was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved to run track, ride his bike and his brothers’ motorcycles. He also enjoyed needlework and washing dishes. Vedal ran in the Special Olympics and won several awards. He attended the Joshua D. Smith Foundation in Idaho Falls. In his later years, he enjoyed the daily visits with his friends – the employees of Smith’s Food and Drug Center in Idaho Falls.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore “Teddy” Ramos III, and his mother, Mary Lena.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Ammon LDS 3rd Ward (2150 Avocet Avenue, Ammon), with Bishop Sid Beattie officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 South Ammon Road). Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
