Van Floyd Cleverley, 53, of Ammon passed away unexpectedly, November 3, 2013 at his home. He was born to Wayne Floyd and Barbara Egan Cleverley on July 5, 1960 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Madison High School class of 1978 and continued his education at the Boise Police Academy. Van married Arlene Ellis and together they had four children. They were later divorced. On August 30, 2013 he married Tina Renee Leisure Crow which allowed him to be a dad again to an additional 6 children. Van worked as a police officer and kept his skills current with the achievement of earning his Black Belt in Karate, three times. He was gifted in woodworking and was an accomplished carpenter He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, scuba diving and spending time with his family. Van is survived by: His wife, Tina of Ammon; Son, Eric Cleverley of Kaysville, UT; Son, Chad Cleverley, of Draper, UT; Daughter, Brittany (Joel) Robinette, of Salt Lake City, UT; Son, Jesse Crow, of Yorktown, VA; Son, Chandler Crow, of Missoula, MT; Son, Jared Crow, of Ammon, ID; Daughter, Katie Crow, of Ammon, ID; Daughter, Karlee Crow, of Ammon, ID; Daughter, Amanda Crow, of Ammon, ID; Brother, Scott Cleverley, of Pleasant Grove, UT; Aunt Jackie Buhler of Ammon, ID; Five grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Deric. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Ammon 11th Ward Chapel (1100 S. Tie Breaker) with Bishop Farrell Steiner officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30-8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Wood East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd.) and from 10-10:45 am prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

Funeral Services Will be held

Thursday November 7, 2013 , 11:00 a.m. at Ammon LDS 11th Ward

The family will visit with friends 6:30-8:00 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd), and from 10-10:45 am prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
