VALERIE SMITH IDAHO FALLS, ID - Valerie Jean Smith, 61, of Idaho Falls, died September 18, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1943, in Lewistown, Montana, to Fred Charles Heiman and Ruth Lorraine Collins Heiman. She attended schools there, graduating from Fergus County High School. She married William Dale Smith November 3, 1961, in Lewistown, Montana. She was a homemaker and owned and operated Toadstool Ceramics, having lived in Idaho Falls for 31 years. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, fishing and bowling. Surviving are: Sister: Kathleen Claire Randolph, Oakdale, CT Brother: Wayne Earl Heiman, Ashton, ID Stepson: Roger Smith, Lewistown, MT Stepson: Terry Smith, MT 5 Step-grandchildren, 11 Step-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Virginia Lee Heiman, Darlene J. Smokoff, and Phyllis Scorsone, and a stepson, Michael Smith. Arrangements are through Wood Funeral Home, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
