Vada Hall

Vada Hall, 96, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 22, 2026, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community.

Vada was born April 19, 1930, in Garfield, Idaho, to Charles Nathan Groom and Maud Allen Groom. She grew up and attended Ucon Elementary and graduated from Rigby High School.

On August 3, 1949, she married Frank Kay Hall in Rigby, Idaho. Vada and Frank made their home in Idaho Falls where Vada worked as a school teacher and a nurse for Dr. Rulon Robinson.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed dolls and jewelry.

Vada is survived by her son, Brent Hall of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Helen Holman of Ririe, ID; sister, Gloria Hammon of Idaho Falls, ID; 19 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kay Hall; father, Charles Nathan Groom; mother, Maud Groom; stepmother, Ethel Groom; son, Terry Hall; sister, Barbara Herbst; brothers, Max Groom, Rex Groom, and Gale Groom.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Woodruff Ward, 1660 12th Street in Idaho Falls. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 -11:15 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
