Verla “Lucille” Heileson Hill, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away on October 16, 2012, at her home.
She was born on November 19, 1921, in Lyman, Idaho to Neil Owen Heileson and Emily Rytting Heileson. She attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She continued her education at Ricks College.
On February 14, 1943, she married Ross Z. Hill in San Diego, California. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1994. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Lucille also worked in sales at Scott’s Stationers, and as a secretary at the LDS Indian Student Placement and Marcon Insurance Agency. She volunteered at Bush Magnet School as a foster grandparent and was a lifetime member of the PTO.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Daughter: Kathleen H. (Clayton) Malcom, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Joyce (Ronald) Harker, Idaho Falls, ID
27 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren with 3 on the way, and 1 great great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Dennis Ross Hill and Ronald Bruce Hill; and two grandchildren, Tracey and Lisa Hill.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS 10th Ward (1200 Dunbar) with Bishop Jack Klein officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
