Tyler Thompson

Tyler Daniel Thompson, 26, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away November 12, 2011, due to injuries received in a car accident. Tyler was born on July 31, 1985, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dwight Ray Thompson and Katherine Marie Jordan McNeel Thompson. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He was registered to attend the University of Phoenix and planned to study accounting in business management. On August 12, 2011, Tyler married JennaLee Hornberger in Idaho Falls. Tyler worked in warehouse stocking for Great Western Foods. He enjoyed camping, fishing, snowboarding, gaming and playing X Box. He loved to watch football and listen to music. He was a great chef. Tyler loved spending time with his friends and family celebrating life. Tyler’s survivors include: wife, JennaLee Thompson of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Kathy (Matt C.) McNeel of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Brittaney Nicole (Cortney) Tibbitts of Rigby, ID; brother, Hunter Gage Ririe of Firth, ID; Paternal Grandparents: Blaine and Winnie Thompson of Idaho Falls, ID; and Maternal Grandparents: Larry Jordan and Judy Ralls, both of Idaho Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by both sets of his great grandparents: Helen and Dwight Johnson, and Alden and Ruth Thompson; his father, Dwight “Tom” Thompson; and his uncle, Larry Johnson. Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Calvary Chapel, 4250 South 25th East, with Pastor John Darfler officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and Saturday from 11 to 11:45 p.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.

The family will visit with friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Saturday from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
