Tyla Traughber, 49, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 26, 2017, at her home.
Tyla was born October 28, 1967, in Driggs, Idaho to Estle Traughber and Lexi Harden Traughber. She grew up in Irwin and attended schools there, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She attended and graduated from Cosmetology School at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. She moved to Silverdale, Washington where she was a hair stylist for 10 years and went to college where she studied design drafting.
She married Mike Kingston and they were later divorced. Tyla continued as a hair stylist owning and operating Salon 720 in Idaho Falls for 21 years and loved the girls at the salon. She adored her dog, Diesel "DC" and enjoyed fishing, horses, boating, and all outdoor activities. Tyla loved life and all the people she touched.
Tyla is survived by her
mother, Lexi Traughber of Irwin, ID;
sister, LaRita Dial of Idaho Falls, ID;
two nieces, Jessica and Jennifer;
three great nieces, Lexi, Elysse, and Baylee;
stepdaughter, Ashley Kingston; and
uncle, Lane Harden and many cousins
She was preceded in death by her dad, Estle; grandparents, Paul and Anna Traughber, Pete and Edna Ottino; and Al Harden.
A gathering will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with a family prayer to be offered at 3:30 p.m.
